WElcome to the Detroit club of the national association of negro business and Professional women's club!

We are women with a purpose.

The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club, Inc - Detroit Club (NANBPWC Detroit) is a service corporation on a mission to advocate, educate, cooperate in and implement programs relevant to matters affecting Black women, and therefore society as a whole.  We roll up our sleeves and get involved.  Our hallmark event is the Community Baby Shower in which the organization currently partners with Henry Ford Hospital to ensure that mothers have the essential such as cribs and card seats before leaving the hospital.  The Club's programing focuses on Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Service, and the goal is to ensure the success of our communities, businesses, and families. 

Club President's Call to Action

 As we start our 2014-15 year, we are energized to do our personal and collective best to help ensure that our programming reaches the women, men, and youth in need of our service.  Our Community Baby Shower in partnership with Henry Ford Hospital needs the commitment of all club members and community supporters and partners.  Our Business with Purpose Directory will be e-published and available on our website in the spring 2015.  Moreover, we have plan to recognize the Black Women who are making a difference with their social and entrepreneurial efforts at our upcoming Founders' Day.  We will award our Sojourner Truth Award at that time.  I welcome you to the 2014-15 Program Year. Youth with a Purpose

The NANBPWC Detroit has a Youth Club that meets monthly and build their resumes and stewardship participating in various leadership, entrepreneurship, technology, and service activities.  For  those between the ages of 13-17 who are service minded and wanting to effect positive personal and social change, the Youth Club offers many opportunities.   Contact the NANBPWC Detroit Membership Vice President at membership@nanbpwcdetroit.org for additional information.
